About
Hello and Welcome! My name is Dr. Collingwood. I am a licensed psychologist in Wisconsin and currently live and work there. I'm passionate about helping people find answers to the questions that brought them to Prosper Health. I understand the challenges that come with neurodivergence, especially when it has not been diagnosed until adulthood. Clarity and understanding are invaluable outcomes of the evaluation process. I work to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard and understood while gaining greater understanding of neurodivergence and how to make it work for you.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from personal and professional experience with neurodiversity and the inherent strengths and challenges. I strive to create an evaluation environment wherein you feel understood and empowered. I appreciate the strengths, perspectives, and resilience of autistic individuals and am honored to help them identify these during the evaluation.
I know that the assessment process can sometimes feel uncomfortable or overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, valued, and truly heard. I emphasize an affirming and strengths-based approach in order to develop an accurate understanding of you and your experiences. Identifying your unique strengths and abilities and how you can use these to approach challenges and reach your full potential are primary goals of a meaningful evaluation. You'll find that my clinical approach is grounded in cultural humility and built on deep respect for each person’s unique lived experience.
