About
Hi, I'm Lindsay! I'm a licensed psychologist in California. I've been licensed for over a decade, with a background in forensic psychology and years of experience supporting adults through burnout, neurodivergence, and complex life experiences. As a neurodivergent person myself, what drives me is helping people finally understand themselves, and feel understood.
If you've spent years wondering why things that seem easy for others leave you exhausted, you deserve real answers. Many of the adults I meet have been masking for years, were overlooked or misdiagnosed, or are just starting to put words to experiences they've always had. I've seen how much understanding your own brain can change things, both in how you see your past and in how gently you treat yourself going forward.
My approach is thorough and evidence-based, but I know an evaluation can feel vulnerable. I'll walk you through each step, be honest with you, and treat you as the expert on your own life.
Whatever we find, I want you to leave feeling more understood, with next steps that truly fit you. I'm really glad you're here.
Over the years, so many of the adults who came to me for burnout, anxiety, or "just not coping" turned out to be neurodivergent people who had never been given the right lens for their lives. Again and again, I watched clients light up with relief when we finally named what was going on. They weren't lazy, broken, or too sensitive. Their brains simply worked differently, and they'd been pushing themselves to fit a mold that was never built for them.
That relief is what drew me to this work. As a neurodivergent person myself, I know how exhausting it can be to mask, and how freeing it is to understand yourself on your own terms. Assessment gives me the chance to offer that clarity directly, and to help people move forward with more self-compassion and support that actually fits.
I believe an assessment should be about understanding all of you, not just cataloging what's hard. Alongside any challenges, I pay close attention to your strengths: the way you think, what you care deeply about, the creative ways you've adapted, and the resilience it took to get here. Those strengths are just as much a part of your story, and they're often the key to building a life that works for you.
I'll meet you with curiosity and compassion, never judgment. There's no "right" way to show up, and you're welcome to stim, take breaks, keep your camera off when you need to, or tell me what helps you feel comfortable. My goal is for you to leave not with a list of deficits, but with a fuller, kinder picture of who you are and practical tools to help you thrive.
As a neurodivergent clinician, I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to this work. I also warmly welcome clients of all identities, relationship structures, and backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ and non-monogamous folks.
