Hello and welcome! My name is Lauren and I currently live in Santa Cruz, and I'm licensed in California. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are struggling with anxiety/overwhelm, relationship challenges, or difficulties with intimacy that result in anxiety, shame, or difficulties in relationships. As a clinician, I believe in creating a a safe, supportive space where clients can explore how these patterns developed, build self-trust, reduce distressing thoughts and behaviors, and create more fulfilling relationships to yourself and others. As a psychotherapist and sex therapist, I provide care that honors the connection between mental, emotional, relational, and sexual well-being. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
As a person with lived experience with neurodiversity, I have deep respect and appreciation for the may differant ways people move through and experience the world. I am passionate about fostering a space where every person feels valued and seen for their unique strengths and contributions. I strive to provide a space that honors and celebrates those differences, while balancing the depth and sensitivity to hold the hard truths of how this may has impacted your well being and confidence to achieve your goals.
I prioritize an affirming, inclusive, strengths-based approach to ensure that every individual feels seen, valued, and empowered. I believe that every person possesses unique strengths and abilities that can be harnessed to navigate challenges and achieve personal goals. I actively listen to their experiences and validate their feelings, creating a safe space where they can express themselves authentically.
