About

I've always believed that understanding yourself is one of the most empowering steps you can take. Whether you're seeking an autism evaluation because you've long wondered why you experience the world differently or you're looking for clarity after years of unanswered questions, I'm here to provide a thoughtful, supportive, and affirming experience. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have over a decade of experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and working with individuals across a wide range of clinical settings. My background includes assessment and diagnostic work in private practice, hospitals, and federal agencies, where I've specialized in careful, evidence-based evaluations that help people better understand their strengths, challenges, and unique experiences.I know that pursuing an autism evaluation can bring up a mix of emotions—curiosity, relief, uncertainty, or even anxiety. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood throughout the process. I take the time to get to know your story, answer your questions, and provide clear, personalized feedback that helps you make sense of your experiences.I approach every evaluation with compassion, curiosity, and respect for neurodiversity. Whether you're seeking answers for yourself for the first time or looking for documentation to support your personal, educational, or professional goals, I strive to make the process collaborative, validating, and meaningful.I look forward to partnering with you as we work together to better understand your unique strengths and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My passion for supporting neurodiverse individuals is both professional and deeply personal. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working alongside neurodivergent individuals and their families in a variety of clinical settings, helping them better understand their strengths, challenges, and unique ways of experiencing the world. These experiences have reinforced my belief that every person deserves to be seen, understood, and appreciated for who they are—not just through the lens of a diagnosis. As the parent of a neurodivergent child, I also understand firsthand the questions, emotions, and uncertainty that can come with seeking answers. This perspective has given me an even deeper appreciation for how important it is to provide evaluations that are not only thorough and evidence-based, but also compassionate, affirming, and empowering. My goal is for every person I work with to leave feeling heard, validated, and equipped with meaningful insights that help them better understand themselves and confidently move forward.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe an autism evaluation should be about much more than arriving at a diagnosis—it should help you better understand yourself. My approach is grounded in the belief that neurodiversity is a natural part of human variation, and that every individual brings unique strengths, perspectives, and abilities.Throughout the evaluation process, I take time to understand not only the areas where you may experience challenges, but also the qualities that make you who you are. Together, we'll explore your cognitive, emotional, and social strengths, recognizing how they have helped you navigate the world while also identifying the supports that can help you thrive.I strive to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. My goal is for you to leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater self-compassion, and practical recommendations that build on your strengths and empower you to reach your full potential. Whether or not you receive an autism diagnosis, I want the experience to be affirming, insightful, and centered on helping you move forward with confidence.
