Hello and welcome, I appreciate you considering working with me. I’m Dr. Laura Aldrich, a clinical psychologist who is licensed in Virginia. I am a Navy veteran and speak Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. I have studied and lived abroad in numerous countries in Central and South America. I believe you are the expert on your lived experience and on how to be your authentic self. I look forward to collaborating and supporting you on your journey.
I enjoy guiding people on their paths to self-discovery and helping people use their interests, talents, and strengths to live their best life. I have personal and professional experience working with neurodivergent adults to identify barriers and explore methods to navigate challenges.
My goal is always to meet the person where they are at by listening to their story and validating their experiences. No two clients are the same and I tailor my approach to your needs and goals while centering your respective identities. This begins with creating an affirming environment.
