About

My passion is helping people become and maintain the best version of themselves by creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where they feel understood and valued. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, build resilience, and navigate areas of growth. I believe therapy is a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment, and I strive to create a space free of judgment where clients can openly explore their experiences and embrace their authentic selves.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

What led me to specialize in working with neurodivergent clients is my deep appreciation for the unique ways individuals experience, process, and interact with the world. I recognize that many neurodivergent individuals have faced misunderstanding, stigma, or pressure to conform in environments that were not designed with their needs in mind. I wanted to create a therapeutic space where clients feel accepted for who they are rather than feeling the need to mask or change themselves to fit societal expectations.

I am passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals better understand themselves, build confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, and navigate relationships, life transitions, emotional regulation, and daily challenges in ways that honor their individuality. My goal is to provide affirming, collaborative, and strengths-based support that empowers clients to thrive while embracing their neurodiversity.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strength-based approach to my work by creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, respected, and accepted for who they are. I believe that every individual possesses unique strengths, abilities, and perspectives that deserve to be recognized and nurtured. Rather than focusing solely on challenges or perceived deficits, I work collaboratively with clients to identify their resilience, build self-awareness, and develop upon the qualities that already support their growth and well-being.

In my work with neurodivergent clients, I strive to honor each person’s individuality and lived experience. I understand that many individuals have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or pressured to conform to expectations that may not align with who they truly are. My approach is rooted in affirmation, compassion, and authenticity, encouraging clients to embrace their identities without shame or judgment.

I also recognize that growth looks different for everyone. By meeting clients where they are, I help them build confidence, strengthen self-advocacy, navigate relationships and life transitions, and develop coping strategies that align with their personal values and needs. My goal is to empower clients to see themselves through a lens of strength and possibility while supporting them in creating fulfilling and meaningful lives.
