About

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Dr. LaTinna Belcher, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia. I am passionate about helping individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. My background includes working with children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings.I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe therapy should feel personal, compassionate, and collaborative. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, burnout, emotional stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply trying to better understand yourself, I want you to know that you do not have to go through it alone. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and creating a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling for you.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose this path because I genuinely care about helping people feel seen, heard, and supported during difficult moments in their lives. I have always been drawn to creating safe spaces where individuals can show up authentically and feel accepted for who they are. My passion for working with neurodivergent and autistic clients comes from recognizing that every person experiences the world differently, and those differences deserve understanding, respect, and affirmation rather than judgment.I believe many neurodivergent individuals spend so much of their lives feeling misunderstood or pressured to fit into spaces that were not designed with them in mind. I want to help create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and where your strengths are recognized and valued. My goal is to support you in building confidence, navigating challenges, strengthening relationships, and developing tools that help you thrive in ways that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I take a compassionate, affirming, and strengths-based approach to therapy. I believe that you already possess strengths, resilience, and abilities within yourself, even during seasons when life feels heavy or overwhelming. My role is to help you recognize those strengths, build upon them, and develop practical tools that support your emotional well-being and personal growth.I focus on creating a space where you feel safe to express yourself openly and honestly without feeling judged or pressured. I value collaboration and believe therapy works best when we work together as a team. I strive to meet you where you are, honoring your unique experiences, identity, and needs while helping you move toward the goals that matter most to you. I approach therapy with warmth, empathy, patience, and authenticity because I want you to feel genuinely supported throughout your journey.
