About
The relationship between client and therapist is the key to recovery. I will work to build a genuine connection with you to develop trust. From there we can explore the psychological, emotional, physical, and social forces that make up your experience. My belief is that you are the expert of your life, and my role is to join you on your path to living well by offering compassion, insight, and guidance to facilitate growth. I strive to create a space that is collaborative and inquisitive, exploring your experiences, strengths, culture, and needs.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from a deep respect for neurodiversity and a passion for fostering a space where every individual feels valued and empowered. I am inspired by the strengths, perspectives, and resilience of the autistic community, and I strive to provide support that honors each person’s unique experiences. My goal is to help clients navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and develop skills that enhance their daily lives and relationships. Together, we can work toward a life where you feel understood, supported, and able to thrive.
I work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, thought and mood disorders, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My work is informed by humanistic (your experiences are valid) and ecological (goodness of fit) approaches. I incorporate mindfulness and a cognitive-behavioral therapy into my practice.
