About
Hi! I am Dr. Krystol McIntyre, a licensed psychologist in Southern California. I am formally trained in neuropsychology, which is just fancy way of saying that I spend a lot of time learning how brains work. I love getting to know people and my goal is to help you get answers to the questions that matter and connect you to the right supports in order to help make life more manageable. My approach combines respect, compassion, science, and a little humor to try to make the process feel less intimidating—and maybe even enjoyable.
I am drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals because I’ve always been fascinated by the many ways people experience and process the world. I have a deep appreciation and curiosity for the diversity of the brain, but what really inspires me is meeting individuals whose perspectives often go unseen or misunderstood. I find it incredibly meaningful to help explore and highlight strengths, navigate challenges, and create a space where people feel seen and heard. For me, it’s about honoring differences, empowering clients to reach their goals, and helping people learn the unique ways their minds work.
I focus on truly seeing and valuing each person for who they are. I believe in meeting people where they are, which means recognizing strengths, interests, and perspectives that every individual brings. From there, we can build together—finding ways to use those strengths as a foundation for growth and well-being. My approach is affirming and collaborative, rooted in compassion, respect, and honesty. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they explore their goals and discover their potential.
