About

I’m a warm and compassionate psychologist and trained art therapist licensed in New York, and I feel genuinely privileged to have worked with people from all walks of life—across inpatient units, outpatient settings, and correctional mental health. These experiences have shaped the way I show up for clients: with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for their lived experiences. My background in art therapy continues to influence my work, reminding me of the power of creativity, expression, and non-traditional pathways to insight. It helps me meet clients in ways that honor their individuality and make space for the many forms that communication and self-understanding can take.In my work with neurodivergent individuals, I bring an affirming, strengths-based approach to every assessment. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported as we explore your inner world. I view myself as an active partner in your growth—someone who walks alongside you, helping you recognize your strengths, deepen insight, and move toward your full potential with confidence and intention.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My interest in working with neurodivergent clients is rooted in a deep respect for the diversity of human cognition and a commitment to helping individuals understand themselves in ways that are empowering rather than pathologizing. Neurodivergent people often navigate systems that were not designed with their strengths, communication styles, or needs in mind. As a psychologist, I want to be part of changing that experience—starting with the assessment process.I am drawn to assessment work with neurodivergent clients because a well conducted evaluation can be transformative. It can provide clarity, language, and validation for experiences that may have been misunderstood for years. I aim to create assessments that do more than identify challenges; I want them to highlight strengths, contextualize behaviors, and offer practical pathways for support. My goal is to ensure that clients walk away feeling seen, understood, and equipped—not labeled or limited.I strive to offer an assessment environment that is collaborative, respectful, and responsive to each person’s communication preferences and sensory comfort. This includes adapting my approach, pacing, and tools to meet clients where they are rather than expecting them to conform to traditional clinical norms.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

As a psychologist specializing in neurodivergent psychological assessment, I ground my work in an affirming, strengths-based perspective.  An affirming assessment, to me, is one that highlights strengths alongside challenges, contextualizes behaviors rather than pathologizing them, and adapts to each client’s communication style, sensory needs, and lived experience. Many neurodivergent individuals have navigated environments that misunderstood or minimized their differences. A thoughtful, strengths focused evaluation can offer clarity, validation, and practical tools for navigating life with greater intention and confidence.By combining relational attunement with evidence-based practice, I aim to provide assessments that deepen insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and support clients in embracing the unique ways they think, feel, and move through the world.
