About
Hello and welcome! My name is Kimberly Leary. I am a licensed psychologist who completed my undergraduate education at New York University and my graduate education at Springfield College. I went on to obtain my doctorate in psychology from Alliant International University. I am licensed in both Florida and Georgia. I have worked with adults on depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions, as well as with individuals with serious mental illness. I have worked in various settings, including military, forensic, and correctional settings. I mostly use cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused practices when working with patients.
My desire to work with autistic adults stems from respect for neurodiversity. My goal is to provide a supportive setting so that every client feels valued and comfortable enough to discuss all types of experiences.
I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based approach to ensure that every individual feels valued and empowered. Every client is unique and has the ability to address challenges along the path to achieving his or her purpose.
