Hello and welcome. My name is Kimberly Brooks. I currently live in Maryland where I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have a strong desire to provide comprehensive and caring services to anyone looking for support. I have 30 plus years of experience working with children and adults who want to understand themselves, others and their relationships. My goal is to assist you in learning about your strengths and your challenges. I believe that information gives you the tools to move forward and to grow.
My motivation for working with neurodivergent individuals stems from my passion for helping people feel seen and heard. I find value in providing a space for autistic adults to identify their strengths so that they can develop into the person they want to be. Giving autistic adults the information that allows them to see themselves fully is a goal I look to achieve with my evaluations and interventions.
I provide an assessment experience that is supportive and warm. I believe that every individual has areas of strength that can be used to support less well developed areas. I work to identify those areas so that clients can go through life with the knowledge that obstacles can be overcome.
