About

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Dr. Kiersten Sippio, and I am a licensed clinical neuropsychologist with a specialty emphasis in autism spectrum disorders. I am deeply passionate about supporting adults as they navigate the unique challenges and strengths that come with being neurodivergent, especially in a world that often misunderstands those who walk an unconventional path.As a clinician, I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to partner with you, helping you gain a deeper understanding of how your brain works, and to empower you with practical strategies to cope and thrive. Through neuropsychological evaluation, I strive to provide clarity around your experiences, explain the origins of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, and offer tailored recommendations to help you move forward.Every person’s journey is unique, and I am committed to offering care that is as individual as you are. At Neurodivergent Minds, I hope that you and your loved ones leave feeling validated, equipped with knowledge, and confident in your path toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for specializing in working with autistic and neurodivergent adults is deeply personal. As someone with ADHD, I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating a world that isn’t always built with neurodivergent individuals in mind. This lived experience gives me a special empathy for others with neurodevelopmental differences and fuels my passion for creating spaces where everyone feels truly heard and valued.I am continually inspired by the resilience, creativity, and unique perspectives within the autistic and neurodivergent communities. My goal is to empower my clients to find their voice, strengthen relationships, and improve their quality of life. I strive to help each person embrace their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and build self-acceptance. It is an honor to support neurodivergent adults as they navigate challenges and discover a path toward greater confidence, fulfillment, and belonging.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by centering each client’s unique abilities, perspectives, and lived experiences. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I help clients recognize and build upon the strengths that make them who they are. My approach is rooted in deep compassion and respect, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and celebrated for their individuality. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I share a similar lived experience with many of my clients, which helps me understand their perspective on a deeper level. I listen closely, validate their feelings, and encourage self-advocacy, helping them discover and amplify their voice. Together, we work to foster self-acceptance, strengthen relationships, and unlock their full potential, supporting them as they move toward greater confidence and fulfillment.
