About
I’m a therapist who believes that meaningful change starts with feeling truly seen and understood. My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. I’m driven by a deep commitment to helping people navigate life’s challenges—whether that’s managing anxiety, working through past experiences, improving relationships, or simply finding a greater sense of balance and self-understanding.My work is shaped by both professional training and real-life perspective. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring each session to meet you where you are, at your pace. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—our work together is collaborative, thoughtful, and focused on what matters most to you. Above all, I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and begin to move toward the life you want with clarity, confidence, and support.
I didn’t come to this work by accident—it grew out of experiences that deeply shaped how I understand people, difference, and what it means to feel truly accepted. Over time, I noticed how often autistic and neurodivergent individuals were misunderstood, overlooked, or expected to fit into spaces that weren’t built with them in mind. I saw the impact that could have—not just in terms of stress or burnout, but in how someone comes to see themselves. What drew me to specialize in this area was a genuine respect for neurodivergent ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. I’ve always been struck by the depth, creativity, honesty, and insight many neurodivergent clients bring into the room—qualities that aren’t always recognized or valued in traditional settings. I wanted to create a space where those traits are not only welcomed, but understood and supported.I also felt a strong pull to offer something different from the deficit-based narratives that so many people have encountered. My goal is not to “fix” or change who someone is, but to help them better understand themselves, navigate a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming or invalidating, and build a life that feels more aligned and sustainable. At the heart of it, this path is about advocacy, respect, and connection. It’s about meeting people as they are, honoring their experiences, and walking alongside them as they define what well-being looks like on their own terms.
My approach is rooted in the belief that every person already carries strengths, insights, and ways of being that deserve to be recognized and built upon. Rather than focusing first on challenges or what feels “wrong,” I work collaboratively with clients to uncover what’s already working—whether that’s resilience, creativity, pattern recognition, deep empathy, honesty, or a strong sense of justice—and use those qualities as a foundation for growth. With autistic and neurodivergent clients in particular, I take an affirming, non-pathologizing stance. That means I don’t view neurodivergence as something to fix, but as a valid and meaningful way of experiencing the world. Together, we might explore how your unique wiring shapes your relationships, your needs, and your environment—and how to better align your life with those realities, rather than forcing yourself into spaces or expectations that don’t fit.Compassion is at the center of everything I do. Many clients come in carrying years of self-doubt or internalized messages about who they “should” be. Part of our work is gently unpacking those narratives and replacing them with a more accurate, respectful understanding of who you are. From there, we focus on building practical tools, self-trust, and confidence in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.I also bring my own lived experience and connection to neurodivergent and affirming communities into the work. This can help foster a deeper sense of understanding and shared language, while always keeping your individual experience at the forefront.Ultimately, my role is to support you in recognizing your full potential—not by changing who you are, but by helping you more fully access and trust the strengths that have been there all along.
