I am very happy you are wanting to work with me. My name is Kevin Whitson. I currently live in Illinois and I am an avid Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan. I am also licensed in Illinois as well. As a professional, I believe that by providing a safe, supporitive space, I can help you discover the answers that you are looking to discover. Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Rolling Meadow, Illinois; Masters in Psychology from The Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Wheeling, Illinois; Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am motivated to working with people with neurodivergent concerns to help them uncover their uncertainties and to provide them data that is needed for additional support that is so greatly needed on their journey.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is to provide an affirming, supportive approach that focuses on a person's strengths. It is my hope that my compassionate and self-empowering approach will help you reach your full potential.
