Hi there! I'm Dr. Kayla Schrickel, a licensed psychologist born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. I'm licensed to practice in Florida and am also authorized through PSYPACT, which allows me to provide services to clients in more than 40 participating states. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel understood, supported, and accepted. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself so you can approach life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Whether you're seeking answers about yourself for the first time or looking to better understand experiences you've had for years, I'm here to support you throughout that journey.
I am passionate about helping adults gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their unique ways of experiencing the world. Many of the individuals I work with have spent years wondering why certain things have felt more difficult for them, often without having the language or answers to make sense of those experiences. It is incredibly meaningful to be part of the process of helping someone gain clarity, validation, and a greater sense of self-understanding.
I strive to create a welcoming, affirming, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. My goal is not to define who you are by a diagnosis or label, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and identify strategies that support you in living a fulfilling life. Whether an evaluation confirms an autism diagnosis or points in another direction, I hope you leave the process feeling heard, understood, and empowered with greater understanding of yourself.
