About

Greetings

I’m Dr. Watts.

As a clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience, I am passionate about helping my patients better understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences and navigate life‘s challenges. My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration and respect for individual differences. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe, valued, and accepted without judgement.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Clinical Psychology from Jackson State University; Masters in Forensic Psychology from Prairie View A&M University; Bachelors in Psychology from University of Houston
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am absolutely passionate about the work that I do within the neurodivergent community because I value the uniqueness of your perspectives and strengths. I believe Understanding how you process information and experience the world can be transformative in helping you develop greater self-awareness and confidence.

‍

I find purpose in helping you recognize your strength, better understand your challenges and discover ways to navigate life that honors who you are rather than trying to fit into someone else’s expectations.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe that we all possess strengths and characteristics that help us navigate our lives. My approach to treatment focuses on recognizing and building upon your strengths rather than defining you by your challenges. I strive to create a supportive, affirming environment that helps you better understand yourself, recognize your potential and identify meaningful ways to use your strengths in everyday life.
