About
Hi, I’m Kat, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. I pride myself on offering a compassionate, affirming space where you can feel truly seen and understood. My approach is strength-based, focusing on each person’s abilities, interests, and potential rather than perceived deficits. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with autistic and neurodivergent clients, as well as people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and alternative perceptions. I am driven by a belief in the power of human connection, the resilience of my clients, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.
I chose this work because I believe neurodivergence is a valuable part of human diversity, and I’m passionate about helping people embrace their authentic selves. As a neurodivergent clinician myself, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my work, which helps me connect with clients in a deeply understanding and affirming way. I’m committed to supporting clients as they build confidence, strengthen self-advocacy skills, and create lives that reflect their values and dreams.
My approach blends warmth, evidence-based practice, and collaborative care, creating a supportive environment where you can grow, heal, and thrive. In our work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy, tailoring each session to meet your individual needs.
