About

Hello! I’m Dr. Kashonna Webster, a Clinical Health Psychologist licensed in California. My clinical background is rooted in health psychology and behavioral medicine, with a focus on understanding the connection between psychological, behavioral, and physical health. I have experience working with individuals navigating chronic health conditions, chronic pain, stress, and life transitions. My approach integrates evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and mind-body approaches. I enjoy helping people better understand themselves, develop practical tools, and improve their overall well-being. I’m also interested in working with neurodivergent individuals and supporting adults through psychological assessment and greater self-understanding. My goal is to create a collaborative, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your care.

Education & Licensure
Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), Clinical Psychology, Alliant International University – Los Angeles; Bachelor of Arts (BA) Howard University.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My interest in working with autistic and neurodivergent adults stems from my broader commitment to understanding individuals within the context of their unique experiences, strengths, and needs. As a health psychologist, I recognize that psychological well-being is influenced by many interconnected factors, and that understanding how individuals experience and navigate the world is an important part of providing meaningful care. I’m particularly interested in creating opportunities for greater self-understanding, validation, and access to appropriate support. I value an individualized approach that honors each person’s unique experiences and perspectives.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I take a collaborative, individualized, and strengths-based approach to care. I believe it is important to understand each person’s experiences, recognize their existing strengths, and identify areas where additional support may be beneficial. My approach emphasizes creating a nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their concerns. I incorporate evidence-based strategies while remaining attentive to each person’s preferences, needs, and goals. I also value helping individuals develop practical tools that support their overall well-being, self-awareness, and quality of life.
