About

Welcome! My name is Katie and I am located in Pennsylvania. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. I provide a safe, inclusive space rooted in empathy, diversity, and respect for all identities. As a trauma-informed therapist, I will support you in processing past experiences with care and compassion, working at your own pace to build healing and resilience. I have experience in Autism, trauma recovery, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, and identity exploration, with a neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each person’s unique mind and lived experience. Whether you're navigating life transitions, working through past trauma, or seeking greater self-understanding, my goal is to walk alongside you with curiosity and support.

Education & Licensure
Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania; Bachelors in Special Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My passion for working with Autistic and neurodivergent individuals comes from both professional commitment and deeply personal experiences. As someone who received an adult ADHD diagnosis, I understand the invisible weight of moving through environments, systems, and expectations that were not built for neurodivergent brains. Not having an accurate map of your own mind often results in burnout, confusion, and years of masking. That lived experience drives my therapeutic philosophy: neurodivergence is not a deficit to cure, but a distinct way of experiencing, processing, and interacting with the world. My work centers on helping you shed internalized criticism, discover authentic self-acceptance, and develop practical ways to thrive without sacrificing who you are.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

The foundation of my clinical approach is built on deep empathy, a person-centered philosophy, and a commitment to meeting you exactly where you are. Using a strength-based approach, I strive to cultivate a trusting, strictly non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen and safe. Every client brings a unique set of innate strengths. Together, we tap into those abilities to work through obstacles and reach meaningful goals. By balancing genuine emotional holding with appropriate, grounding humor when the moment calls for it, I can help you navigate your healing and personal growth.
