About
Hello, I’m Kacie. I’m an easygoing and dedicated mental health therapist who believes in meeting you exactly where you are. I take a client-centered approach, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I use these approaches flexibly to fit your unique needs, helping you build practical skills, gain insight, and move toward meaningful change. When we work together, you can expect me to show up with empathy, authenticity, and respect. I value collaboration and see therapy as a partnership—one where your voice matters and your goals guide the process. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, or simply looking for personal growth, I’m here to support you in developing greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with tools that support lasting well-being—both in and outside of our sessions.
I’m drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I believe deeply in neurodiversity and the importance of affirming, strengths-based support. I value the different ways you might think, experience the world, and communicate, and I’m committed to creating a space where those differences are respected rather than pathologized.I also recognize how often neurodivergent people are misunderstood or expected to fit into systems that weren’t designed with them in mind. In our work together, I want to offer something different—support that feels collaborative, individualized, and empowering. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that actually work for you—not against you—so you can navigate life in a way that feels authentic, sustainable, and aligned with who you are.
I take an affirming and strengths-based approach by focusing on who you are—not who you’re expected to be. I believe you already have meaningful strengths, insights, and ways of navigating the world, and my role is to help you recognize, build on, and use those in ways that support your goals. When we work together, I’ll take time to really listen to your experiences and understand what matters to you. I want you to feel seen, respected, and comfortable showing up as your full self. Rather than focusing on “fixing” challenges, I approach them with curiosity and compassion, working with you to find strategies that align with your needs, preferences, and values.I also recognize that your identity, experiences, and environment all play a role in how you move through the world. I aim to create a space that feels affirming and responsive to those parts of you. Together, we’ll focus on building self-understanding, confidence, and practical tools so you can navigate life in a way that feels authentic, sustainable, and empowering.
