About
Hello there! My name is Justin Hahn, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience supporting neurodivergent adults. I split my time between Chicago and Wisconsin -- so I'm licensed in both states. Though I am originally from far-away Hawaii. I'm passionate about providing autism-affirming care that honors how you naturally think and process the world. As an autistic clinician myself, I understand firsthand the unique experiences of navigating a neurotypical world—from the exhaustion of masking to the invisible struggles with executive function. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to build the meaningful life you've always wanted.
I chose this path because I've witnessed the profound gaps in mental health care for neurodivergent individuals, both through my own experiences and during my clinical work in a psychiatric emergency department. I saw too many brilliant, capable people being misunderstood or pathologized rather than supported. I believe neurodivergent adults deserve care that recognizes their inherent worth and works with their neurology, not against it. My purpose is to provide the affirming, knowledgeable support that I wish had been more readily available—care that honors your authentic self while helping you thrive.
My approach centers on recognizing and building upon your unique strengths and values. I integrate neuroscience, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing with philosophical inquiry about meaning and purpose. Rather than focusing solely on "fixing" challenges, we'll work together to understand how your brain works best and develop practical systems that support your natural way of being. Whether you're navigating relationships, managing executive function, or healing from years of masking, I'm committed to helping you develop sustainable strategies rooted in self-acceptance and authentic living. You have everything you need within you—my role is to help you access and strengthen those resources.
