Welcome ! I'm thrilled you are are here. My name is Juan Pauli. I currently live in Concord, California. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I speak Spanish and Portuguese. Working with individuals in their life journey is my purpose and I 'm fully committed to help you achieve greater self-understanding and the life you truly desire. I've had to overcome my own obstacles to arrive to a place of peace in my life. It is through that insight that I have the strength, compassion and knowledge to help others.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from my own challenges fitting in socially, feeling accepted, having to manage and overcome social anxiety for being different. I believe we all have unique strengths and abilities. My goal is to help you overcome challenges like I did and help you identify your own unique qualities, character strengths and goals.
In my work I prioritize an affirming, individually tailored, client-centered, and strengths-based approach to ensure that every individual feels validated, recognized, and empowered. I believe that each client has unique strengths and abilities that can be harnessed to manage successfully challenges and conquer personal goals. I actively listen to their experiences and validate their feelings, creating a safe space where they can express themselves authentically.
