About

I am a licensed psychologist in New York, and Texas specializing in comprehensive autism evaluations. I have extensive experience assessing neurodevelopmental differences and am passionate about supporting adults seeking clarity and understanding about their experiences. Many adults pursue evaluation after years of feeling different or misunderstood. I approach each assessment with warmth, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. My goal is not just to determine whether criteria are met, but to help you better understand your strengths, challenges, and the patterns that have shaped your life.I strive to make the evaluation process thoughtful, collaborative, and affirming, while providing clear answers and practical insight to help you move forward with confidence.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with many individuals who spent years feeling misunderstood, mislabeled, or simply “different” without knowing why. I was struck by how often neurodivergent traits, especially in high-masking adults, were overlooked or misinterpreted as anxiety or mood concerns. When someone finally understands their experiences through an autism lens, the relief and self-compassion that follow can be incredibly powerful.I chose to specialize in this work because I care deeply about helping people make sense of their stories. Adults deserve thoughtful, nuanced evaluations that honor both their strengths and the complexity of their lived experience. Being part of that moment of clarity, when things finally click , is truly meaningful to me.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is rooted in recognizing and building upon each person’s strengths. I believe neurodivergence is not something to be “fixed,” but understood. My evaluations focus on identifying patterns of thinking, creativity, resilience, and insight that may have been underappreciated, while also acknowledging areas where support can make life easier. I strive to create a process that feels affirming, collaborative, and respectful, so clients leave not just with answers, but with a deeper sense of confidence in who they are and how they move through the world.
