About
Hello! My name is Dr. Jessica Stone, and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) with more than ten years of experience in the field. Throughout her career, I have developed a specialized expertise in conducting psychoeducational and psychological testing, focusing on neurodevelopmental, learning, and mood disorders. My extensive experience includes working in both educational and hospital settings, where I have demonstrated a commitment to providing thorough and accurate assessments. These assessments often serve to clarify complex diagnostic questions, providing essential insight into an individual's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. My approach to testing is both compassionate and comprehensive, ensuring that you will have a clear understanding of the assessment results and the next steps in managing your concerns. I am dedicated to helping you navigate your challenges through evidence-based recommendations, as well as advocate for your best interest.
I chose to specialize in working with autistic/neurodivergent clients because it is both a personal and professional passion. On a personal level, I have family members who are neurodiverse, so I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand both the unique strengths they bring to the world and the challenges they face in systems that often aren’t designed with them in mind. Living in close connection with them has given me deep empathy, patience, and an authentic understanding of the ways that neurodivergence can shape someone’s life experience.
Professionally, my aim is to create supportive, affirming spaces where autistic and neurodivergent individuals can be seen, understood, and validated. I am especially drawn to the work of bridging the gap between clinical insights and educational or everyday supports, so that you can thrive not just in one setting, but across school, work, and/or home. For me, this field is not only about assessment and intervention, but also about advocacy, empowerment, and honoring the diversity of human experience.
