Hello, I’m Jessica. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor based in Illinois and hold a license in Tennessee as well. I care about supporting you on your journey, and I see myself as someone who works alongside you as we work to make clear objectives that make sense to you. I use CBT, client-centered, and solution focused therapies to help clients reach their goals, and work with a wide range of clients.

Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Having worked in the mental health field for several years and having several friends and family members with autism, I have seen the difficulties that autistic clients have in getting proper care that they want and that works for them. Everyone has the right to have care given that best fits them and their strengths, and I strive to be a counselor who meets people along their path and work with them in a way that fosters their identity.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

For me it is important that I do not do therapy at you, but that we work together to help you with the needs you bring to therapy. You are the expert of your life and you know yourself best, so that is where I start as we work together to help you be yourself authentically and fully.
