About
Welcome! So glad that you're here and took this important first step. My name is Jessica, and I currently live in Philadelphia with my husband and two cats. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania, with specialized training and experience in autism assessment and treatment. I’m passionate about making high-quality autism evaluations accessible to all individuals, and I believe an evaluation should be about more than simply identifying a diagnostic label. It should help people better understand their lived experiences and recognize their unique strengths and needs. Most importantly I hope to help identify meaningful supports and a path forward.
I developed a deep respect and enjoyment working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities back in middle school where I started volunteering with Special Olympics and Best Buddies. Every step of my education and career development has been to create safe spaces with high quality care. I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at an Autism Center for Excellence, where I developed extensive experience providing gold-standard autism evaluations and evidence-based treatment across the lifespan. I have also had the opportunity to supervise clinicians and manage a behavioral health department specializing in autism services. At the heart of everything I do is to help people understand themselves better, embrace their strengths and navigate their challenges to live the life they hope for.
I work from a culturally aware, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental approach. My style is supportive, collaborative, empowering, and authentic. Please reach out to me to get started or learn more! One of the hardest parts is taking that first step. I would be happy to connect to determine if I might be a good fit for you.
