About

Hello and welcome! I’m glad you’re here. I am a licensed clinician in New York State and currently practice in Nassau County, NY. I have extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to adults, and have provided assessment and therapeutic services in a wide range of clinical settings. My clinical background includes conducting comprehensive evaluations and providing therapy to support insight, self-understanding, and personal growth. When it comes to evaluations, my approach is collaborative, respectful, and client-centered. The goal of an evaluation is not to change who you are, but to help you better understand yourself. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and validated. Whether you are seeking clarity, self-understanding, or guidance on next steps, my role is to partner with you and support you in moving forward in a way that feels meaningful and empowering to you.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My decision to focus on working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals comes from several years of direct experience and a genuine appreciation for this work. Over time, I’ve found this population especially meaningful to work with, and I value the opportunity to support individuals in understanding themselves more fully. I am drawn to the honesty, insight, and individuality that each person brings, and I believe that neurodiversity is something to be understood and respected. In my work, I aim to provide a thoughtful and affirming evaluation process that helps individuals gain clarity, insight, and direction. My goal is to support clients in identifying their strengths, understanding their experiences, and using that knowledge in ways that align with their personal goals. I strive to create a space where clients feel validated, respected, and empowered to move forward with greater self-understanding and confidence.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by centering the autistic individual in every part of the evaluation process. I speak directly with clients, not about them, and I prioritize their perspective, experiences, and understanding throughout our work together. When sharing results, I ensure that feedback is communicated to the individual in a clear, respectful, and collaborative way, so they remain fully informed and involved in understanding their own evaluation.I emphasize recognizing and building upon each person’s strengths, abilities, and lived experiences. My approach is rooted in compassion, validation, and respect for neurodiversity, with the goal of helping clients gain insight and clarity in a way that feels affirming and empowering. I strive to create a space where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported as they use this information to move forward in ways that align with their goals, values, and definition of success.
