About
I believe that each person has a unique story and life journey that shapes who they are. Along that journey, we often encounter people who help us gain perspective, make sense of difficult experiences, and discover strengths we may not have recognized in ourselves. I have committed my professional life to being one of those people.
Through the assessment process, I strive to help individuals recognize patterns, identify strengths, and gain insight into both their challenges and their potential. Few things are more meaningful to me than witnessing someone gain a more empowered sense of who they are.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults whose lives have been impacted by trauma, adversity, and addiction. My work has taken me throughout the United States and internationally to the Caribbean, providing opportunities to work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. I have a deep appreciation for how culture, community, and group identity shape our development, and I intentionally incorporate these perspectives into the assessment process to ensure each evaluation reflects the whole person. In recent years, my practice has focused on psychological assessment, empowering adults to recognize their strengths, understand their needs, and confidently advocate for themselves at school, at work, and at home.
I am licensed in California and Florida and hold PSYPACT authorization, which allows me to provide online services to clients in many states across the country. Whether you are seeking greater self-understanding, diagnostic clarity, or guidance for your next steps, I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
At its core, my work is rooted in service. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen, understood, and provided with the tools and support needed to thrive. I am particularly drawn to working with adults on the spectrum because many have spent years feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or unsupported despite possessing significant strengths and unique perspectives. My goal is to offer validation, advocacy, and practical guidance that help individuals move forward with greater confidence and self-determination.
A strengths-based approach to psychological assessment does not mean minimizing challenges or overlooking areas of impairment. Rather, it means recognizing the whole person—their strengths, resilience, and potential.
In my work, I look beyond symptoms and diagnoses, and I am always moved by how individuals continue to function while enduring significant adversity. I pay close attention to qualities such as creativity, humor, coping skills, and the unique ways people reframe and adapt to challenges. I am continually inspired by the resilience of the individuals I work with and am intentional about highlighting these strengths while using respectful, non-pathologizing language.
I aim to provide high-quality psychological assessments that offer a balanced and holistic understanding of the individual—one that acknowledges both challenges and strengths.
