Hello and welcome! My name is Jennifer Enslow. I currently live near Savannah, Georgia and am licensed in Georgia and Washington State. This is the first step to a plan that will unfold and lead you to greater self awareness and self confidence.As a clinician, I believe in creating a safe and supportive space that allows you to define what you want progress to look like and identify strengths and tools to help get you there.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from a deeply personal space, my children. I am a mom of 4 adult children, 3 of whom have a diagnosis of Autism. Thus, I have been part of the autism community , both personally and professionally, for most of my life. I have spent most of my career focused on creating support that is accessible and meets the needs of the individual, building on their strengths and developing skills that enhance their daily lives and navigate this world.
I prioritize a strength-based, skill building approach. The things that we may struggle with are just skills not yet mastered. I believe that each client possesses unique strengths and abilities to achieve their goals. I actively listen and validate their feelings, creating a space in which the client can ask themselves, what does progress look like and how do I get there? Through therapy, these questions can be answered.
