About
Hey there! I’m really glad you’re here. I know reaching out can be a big step, and my goal is to make that step feel as safe and supported as possible. I’m a licensed psychologist, and I’m passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, and the quiet “stuck” places that are hard to name but even harder to carry alone.
In our work together, I focus on creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and not judged for whatever you’re going through. I see therapy as a collaborative process: you bring your lived experience and wisdom; I bring clinical training, tools, and an attentive presence. Together, we’ll clarify what you want your life to look and feel like, and then we’ll work step by step toward those goals at a pace that feels right for you.
My style is warm, grounded, and curious. I’ll invite you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with compassion rather than criticism, and I’ll help you notice the strengths and resilience that are often easy to overlook in yourself. We might integrate approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and relational work, depending on what fits you best. Above all, I care that therapy feels like a place where you can be fully yourself—messy, hopeful, uncertain, and everything in between.
Whether you’re seeking support for a specific concern or simply feeling ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it out alone. It would be an honor to partner with you as you move toward more clarity, ease, and connection in your life.
My motivation for working with autistic and other neurodivergent clients comes from a deep belief that the way your brain works is not a problem to be “fixed,” but an important part of who you are that deserves respect, understanding, and support. Over time, I’ve seen how often autistic and neurodivergent people are misunderstood, dismissed, or asked to hide core parts of themselves just to fit in, and I wanted my work to be a direct counter to that.
I’m continually inspired by the insight, creativity, honesty, and persistence I see in neurodivergent clients. Many have had to navigate environments that weren’t built with them in mind, and yet they’ve developed thoughtful strategies, rich inner worlds, and strong values. Sitting with those stories has made me passionate about offering care that centers your lived experience rather than trying to squeeze you into a narrow idea of “normal.”
Specializing in this work allows me to focus on creating sensory-aware, predictable, and affirming spaces where you don’t have to constantly mask or explain yourself. My aim is to help you make sense of your experiences, reduce distress, and build on your strengths—whether that means working on burnout, relationships, communication, self-advocacy, or simply finding more ease in everyday life. Together, we can explore what thriving looks like for you, and move toward a life where you feel seen, supported, and allowed to be fully yourself.
I focus on helping you recognize and grow what is already strong, wise, and resilient in you, rather than treating you as a list of problems to solve. When we work together, we start from the assumption that your responses, coping strategies, and ways of thinking have made sense in the context of your life—even when they’re now causing distress—and we approach them with curiosity and compassion instead of judgment.
In session, I pay close attention to what you care about, what you’re good at, and what has helped you survive difficult times. I’ll name those strengths out loud and invite you to see them too, so therapy feels like a place where your skills, insights, and values are respected. From there, we use those strengths as building blocks: we identify where you want more ease or change, and then we draw on your existing capacities to create new tools and options.
My approach is affirming in that I don’t aim to make you more “normal”; I aim to help you feel more like yourself. That includes honoring your identity, neurotype, culture, and any affinity groups or communities that are important to you, and exploring how those connections can be sources of support rather than pressure. I’ll offer gentle structure and evidence-based strategies, but always in collaboration with you, so our work fits you rather than forcing you to fit the work. My commitment is to walk alongside you as you move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values, more sustainable, and more true to who you are.
