About
Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Jared Tortosa. I was born and raised in Europe, where I learned early on the importance of unique individual worth as a core part of a meaningful life. I hold an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. I am fluent in English and Spanish and also speak advanced Portuguese. I currently live in Salt Lake city, UT, and I am licensed professionally in the states of Utah and Florida. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward greater well-being and self-understanding. As a clinician, I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to partner with you, helping you find resilience and uncover strengths as we work together through life’s challenges. Every person’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to offering care that is as individual as you are.
I chose this path because I have seen firsthand how deeply autism, life transitions, and unspoken struggles can shape a person’s well-being. Throughout my life and professional journey, I’ve witnessed how powerful it can be when someone finally feels understood, supported, and not alone. That moment—when clarity replaces overwhelm or hope begins to return—is what continues to draw me to this work. I find deep fulfillment in empowering individuals and help them reconnect with their strengths, gain insight into their experiences, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose. Being able to walk alongside people as they make meaningful changes, heal from past challenges, and create healthier patterns in their lives is both a responsibility and an honor. Making a real difference—no matter how small it may seem in the moment—is what gives this work lasting meaning for me.My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from a deep respect for neurodiversity and a passion for fostering a space where every individual feels valued and empowered. I am inspired by the strengths, perspectives, and resilience of the autistic community, and I strive to provide support that honors each person’s unique experiences. My goal is to help clients navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and develop skills that enhance their daily lives and relationships. Together, we can work toward a life where you feel understood, supported, and able to thrive.
