About
I was born and raised in Europe, where I learned early on the importance of relationships as a core part of a meaningful life. I hold an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. I am fluent in English and Spanish and also speak advanced Portuguese. For over 20 years, I have practiced professionally in both Europe and the United States and have traveled extensively, visiting 41 states and 29 countries. This diverse background allows me to work comfortably with individuals from many cultural and personal backgrounds. In my work, I strive to create a therapeutic space grounded in trust, safety, and respect. I enjoy working with individuals and couples, empowering individuals, couples, and families as they strengthen relationships, navigate life transitions, and develop the insight and tools needed to face current challenges with confidence.
I chose this path because I have seen firsthand how deeply relationships, life transitions, and unspoken struggles can shape a person’s well-being. Throughout my life and professional journey, I’ve witnessed how powerful it can be when someone finally feels understood, supported, and not alone. That moment—when clarity replaces overwhelm or hope begins to return—is what continues to draw me to this work.I find deep fulfillment in empowering individuals, couples, and families to reconnect with their strengths, gain insight into their experiences, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose. Being able to walk alongside people as they make meaningful changes, heal from past challenges, and create healthier patterns in their lives is both a responsibility and an honor. Making a real difference—no matter how small it may seem in the moment—is what gives this work lasting meaning for me.
My approach is grounded in recognizing and building upon each individual’s inherent strengths rather than focusing solely on problems or deficits. I believe that meaningful growth begins when people are seen for who they are—not just for what they are struggling with. I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based perspective, actively listening to my clients’ experiences, validating their emotions, and honoring their resilience. By creating a compassionate and supportive space, I help individuals, couples, and families reconnect with their capabilities, clarify their values, and build confidence in their ability to move forward. My commitment is to support clients as they recognize their potential, cultivate self-trust, and create lasting change rooted in self-awareness, empowerment, and hope.
