Hello, my name is Janice Park, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate based in Texas. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I’m passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. What drives me as a provider is the deep belief that healing is possible when we feel genuinely understood and accepted. I’m honored to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with their strengths, explore their stories, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship struggles, I’m here to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion every step of the way.
I chose to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I deeply value the richness and diversity of how people experience and interact with the world. Throughout my training and early work, I saw how often neurodivergent individuals were misunderstood, overlooked, or expected to fit into systems that weren’t designed with them in mind. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that.My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and a strong belief that therapy should honor each person’s unique perspective and way of being. Working with neurodivergent clients allows me to support individuals in embracing their identity, building on their strengths, and finding strategies that work for them—not just what’s considered “typical.” It’s a privilege to create a space where clients feel accepted as they are and empowered to thrive.
I take a compassionate, affirming, and strengths-based approach, focusing on what makes each person resilient and capable. Rather than trying to "fix" challenges, I support clients in embracing their full selves and building on their existing strengths. In my work with neurodivergent and marginalized clients, I create a space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to define what healing and growth look like for them. As a Korean American therapist, I also bring cultural awareness to help clients navigate identity, mental health, and family dynamics.
