Greetings! Thank you for taking time to read my bio. My name is Janelle Fisher. I currently live in the greater Sacramento Area of California. Ever since I began graduate school many moons ago I have known it is my calling in life to acquire knowledge and to be in service of others. As a psychologist, I serve others by providing fair and equitable psychological testing services. I believe in making clients comfortable during an uncomfortable process. I believe in being supportive and affirming during a very vulnerable process. Every client is different. Every client deserves access to specialized services intended to improve upon their life. My motto is to listen, learn, and serve.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from my relationship with one of my God brothers that was formally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was in this 20’s. He is brilliant and constantly evolving. He taught me it’s never too late to be diagnosed appropriately. I want to provide this services to others and assist with adding illumination to an aspect of themselves they may have questioned.
I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based approach to ensure that every client I encounter feels as if I collaborating with them, listening to them, and treating them with the value and respect that they deserve. Each client is an expert on themself. I am just a magnifying glass intending to assist with highlighting the fine details needed to add clarity to their life.
