About

Hi, I'm Jamie! I am recently figuring out that I am likely autistic, and have been diagnosed with ADHD for many years. It feels odd to say that in a profile, because many believe that therapists/psychologists should be perfect and have no conditions or problems in order to help others. But I believe that having the experience of grappling with being neurodivergent makes me a more empathetic, compassionate, and effective psychologist. I can relate, because I’ve been there, and am there.I am a psychologist who does assessments for autism through Prosper. You will find people who get it there, and can meet with you where you are.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Honestly, I love neurodivergent folks! I believe we are special, and have many unique and interesting traits and abilities. I know there are challenges, but I also believe challenges can be turned into strengths.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My affinity for neurodivergent folks makes me more attuned to and accepting of us. And it certainly helps that I am also a part of the neurodivergent community.
