About

Welcome, I am so glad you have taken this step towards feeling and living in a way that feels most desirable to you. My name is Jackie Rock and I am dedicated to providing neuro-affirming care that facilitates education, understanding, healing and growth with individuals who are longing to feel “better”, to engage in meaningful connection, and reclaim internal safety. Over the years my approach has evolved from a pure psychotherapy talk approach to a more integrative one, working with the whole person, not just the mind. I specialize in combining traditional psychotherapy with holistic and neuro-affirming care using approaches like Somatic Experiencing, strengths based focus, Implicit Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, parts work, experiential, and Psychedelic Integration. Through these approaches I collaborate with clients to facilitate and develop deeper understanding, fulfilment, connection, healing and self-acceptance. I am located in Sandy, UT, licensed in Utah and Oregon. My passion for learning, curiosity, compassion, personal experience, and commitment to personal health and transformation aid me in facilitating a safe, connected, and inclusive space for individuals. I enjoy spending my free time adventuring with family and friends, the outdoors, learning, traveling, vegging out, movies, and love my alone time to reflect, relax, and regenerate.

Education & Licensure
Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling from University of Phoenix, Salt Lake City, UT, Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from Weber State University Odgen, UT
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from a late understanding of my own neurodivergence (ADHD) and raising two autistic children who both also have ADHD. I have developed a deep respect, desire, and passion in learning about neurodiversity and working with clients who are Autistic and/or identify as neurodivergent. I love being a part of the journey with you in discovering your strengths, advocating foryour needs and wants to be recognized and met, facilitating increased awareness ofyou own way of moving through life that is uniquely yours and being a witness to the overall process. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and encouraging.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I place a significant value in providing a space that feels inclusive, non-judgemental, empowering, safe, open, and respectful. I have an ecletic approach which allows me to provide support that is unique to your needs and desires. My focus is to facilitate a compassionate and collaborative process of strength building, learning, connection, and development of skills as desired by the you to enhance your daily life experience.
