Ivonne Harting
About
Welcome to the next step in your mental health journey! My name is Ivonne Harting. I'm currently based in Denver and am licensed in the state of Colorado. With nearly seven years of experience in marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, and addiction counseling, I offer a holistic approach that combines evidence-based practices with empathy and deep understanding. My favorite part about being a therapist is supporting people on their path towards wellbeing and helping them achieve the self-knowledge that empowers them to make the changes they want to see in their lives. My mission is to make you feel seen and heard while we collaboratively work towards your goals.
My motivation for working with neurodiverse adults started with my goddaughter. She was diagnosed with autism while I was pursuing my bachelor's degree. In seeking mental health support for her, I realized the stigma and lack of access to services this demographic has. I decided to be a part of the solution and focus my practice on serving minorities such as neurodiverse folks, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and the Latine community. Fostering a space where individuals feel validated and unconditionally supported is my biggest priority.
As a clinician, I ensure to facilitate a space that is affirming, culturally sensitive, and founded in compassion. I believe all human beings can benefit from therapy and use it as a tool to discover their resilience. We'll focus on identifying your strengths and empowering yourself to navigate the unique challenges you're facing. Your story matters and we'll shed light on it together.
