Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My desire to work with the neurodivergent/autistic community is rooted in previous clinical experiences where the need for services was not met. There is a gap in services for adult individuals diagnosed with Autism and I want to help merge that space. I believe focusing on strengths and resilience is important. I hope that together we can build on these areas to foster a bright and functional life.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My training in strengths-based approaches guides my practice. I ensure that each individual I work with is valued, seen, and respected. I encourage feedback because I want to provide a safe space where thoughts/opinions are welcome.
