About
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida. I have 16 years of experience in the mental health field. I've worked in inpatient, partial hospitalization, I.O.P. and private practice agencies. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build resilience. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues and navigating through life transitions. I have a down-to-earth and compassionate demeanor. I believe that therapy is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest care, a non-judgmental space, and tailored evidence-based approaches. I integrate CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, IFS, Schema Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help clients feel empowered to make lasting changes.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent clients because I believe in a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach. Too often, conventional therapies focus on fixing 'deficits' or masking traits to fit neurotypical standards. I am passionate about creating a space that celebrates unique cognitive styles—like deep focus, creativity, and pattern recognition—while helping clients build strategies that genuinely serve them. For me, it is about empowering clients to thrive as their authentic selves, not helping them blend in.
I believe in focusing on the strengths of neurodivergent individuals. My goal is to help clients leverage their capacity for deep focus, creative problem-solving, and pattern recognition, rather than trying to make them conform to neurotypical norms.
