About
Hi, I’m Ikesha.
Navigating a world that wasn't necessarily built with your unique brain in mind can feel exhausting, overwhelming, and at times, deeply isolating. Whether you are seeking a formal understanding of your neurodivergence, learning to navigate late-diagnosed autism, or simply looking for a space where you don't have to "mask" to be accepted, I am here to walk alongside you.
With over 12 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, my goal is to provide a collaborative, affirming, and entirely judgment-free sanctuary. I specialize in helping autistic adults unpack anxiety, depression, trauma, and the complex realities of life transitions. My therapeutic approach is heavily rooted in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I always adapt these tools to honor your specific sensory, communication, and emotional needs. We won't try to change who you are; instead, we will focus on building a life that truly accommodates and celebrates your authentic self.
In our sessions, you are the expert on your own lived experience. Together, we will work on practical strategies to manage burnout, navigate relationships, and establish healthy boundaries, all while building on your inherent strengths. You deserve to be heard, seen, and supported exactly as you are. I look forward to connecting and helping you thrive on your own terms.
