About
Warm, compassionate, and dedicated, I am Iesha Anderson, a Licensed Professional Counselor with many years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges.
I believe that healing happens in the context of a safe, non-judgmental relationship and my goals is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and tailored to. your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based methods.
My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent clients grew from a deep recognition that many in this community have spent years feeling misunderstood and masked in traditional therapeutic settings. Early in my career, I witnessed how standard approaches often missed the unique strengths, sensory needs, and lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals. I am motivated to serve and provide support toward their authentic selves while helping navigate a world that isn't always built for them.
I bring an affirming and strength-based approach by viewing neurodivergence not as a disorder to fix, but as a natural and valuable form of human diversity. In our work together, I prioritize your unique neurology, profile, and lived experiences first, rather than focusing on deficits or forcing you to conform to neurotypical standards. This includes:
Celebrating your strengths, creating a space where masking isn't required, and collaborating with you to build practical tools that honor your needs.
