About

Hello and welcome! I’m a licensed clinical psychologist in California specializing in diagnostic assessments for autism. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming perspective. I view neurological differences as natural variations in how people think, experience, and interact with the world—not deficits to be “fixed.” My goal is to understand you in the context of your strengths, challenges, identity, and environment, and to honor the full picture of who you are.I take time to listen closely and create a space where you feel genuinely seen and understood. Whether you’re exploring the possibility of autism for the first time or seeking clarity after years of questions, I aim to make the evaluation process transparent, thoughtful, and supportive.

Education & Licensure
PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University; Masters degree in Psychology from Alliant International University; Bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for specializing in autism assessments comes from a deep respect for neurodiversity and a commitment to helping people feel truly understood. In my work with both children and adults on the autism spectrum, I’ve seen how many individuals move through life sensing they are different without having the language or support to make sense of their experiences. That lack of clarity can be confusing and, at times, isolating.I’m drawn to this work because I value creating a space where your experiences are taken seriously and explored with care, curiosity, and respect. I believe that gaining an accurate, affirming understanding of yourself can be incredibly powerful—it can bring relief, validation, and a new way of relating to your strengths and challenges.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

For me, an assessment is about more than reaching a diagnosis—it’s about helping you make sense of your experiences in a way that feels accurate, validating, and empowering. Together, we work toward building language and insight that can support self-understanding, self-advocacy, and meaningful next steps in your life.My hope is that you leave this process not only with answers, but with a clearer path forward and a stronger sense of confidence in who you are. You deserve to feel affirmed, respected, and equipped with the understanding you need to move ahead in a way that aligns with your values and needs.
