About

Hello and welcome!I’m a licensed therapist based in Michigan, also licensed in Massachusetts, with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve felt genuinely honored to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward greater well-being.At the heart of my work is a deep appreciation for people—I truly enjoy connecting with others and creating a space where you can feel safe, comfortable, and fully yourself. My goal is to offer a supportive, compassionate environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected.I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support and growth, we can work together to help you build insight, develop helpful tools, and move toward the life you want.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’m drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I have a deep respect for the diversity of how people think, feel, and experience the world. I’ve always been struck by the creativity, insight, and unique perspectives that neurodivergent individuals bring, and I value the opportunity to truly understand each person on their own terms. At the same time, I’m aware that many neurodivergent adults have not received the support or understanding they deserve, especially in traditional mental health spaces. That gap has been a strong motivator for me. I wanted to be part of creating a more affirming, respectful, and responsive therapeutic experience—one where clients don’t feel the need to mask or fit into a mold, but instead feel genuinely seen and supported. This work feels meaningful to me because it’s not just about reducing symptoms—it’s about helping people feel more at home in themselves, build lives that align with who they are, and navigate the world in ways that honor their strengths.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I take an affirming, strength-based approach by focusing on each person’s existing strengths, values, and ways of navigating the world. Rather than emphasizing what’s “wrong,” I collaborate with clients to build on what’s already working and adapt strategies to fit their unique needs. With neurodivergent clients, this means honoring differences, not trying to change them. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves without masking, and where their experiences are validated and respected. My goal is to support clients in building self-understanding, self-trust, and practical tools so they can move toward a life that feels more aligned, authentic, and sustainable.
