About

Hello, and I’m glad you’re here and taking this step toward connecting with support. My name is Dr. Haylee Corrales, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida. I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years and have had the privilege of working with diverse populations across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and older adults.

What drives me as a provider is my genuine passion for helping people better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and move toward meaningful growth and change. I believe that therapy is not about having all the answers—it’s about creating a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and goals without fear of judgment.

I take pride in building strong, authentic connections with the people I work with. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Together, we can uncover difficult thoughts, identify patterns and barriers that may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.

My hope is that through our work together, you will gain greater self-awareness, develop healthier ways of coping, strengthen your relationships, and feel more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges. Most importantly, I want you to feel supported as you discover your strengths, reconnect with yourself, and work toward greater inner peace and your true potential.

I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to learning more about you and the journey that brought you here.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Working with autistic adults is meaningful to me because I value the importance of creating a therapeutic experience where people can feel accepted, understood, and respected without having to change who they are. I recognize that every autistic person has a different way of experiencing the world, communicating, connecting with others, and making sense of their surroundings. There is no single definition of what it means to be autistic, and I believe therapy should reflect that individuality.

I am passionate about helping autistic adults better understand themselves while also recognizing and embracing the qualities that make them unique. My approach focuses on identifying strengths, building self-confidence, and developing practical strategies for managing the challenges that can arise in everyday life.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My strength-based approached is grounded in compassion, affirmation, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to grow and thrive to their full potential. I believe that every individual brings their own unique strengths, perspectives, values, and abilities to the therapeutic process. Rather than defining someone by their challenges or focusing on what they may need to change, I strive to help clients recognize, understand, and build upon the strengths they already possess.Together, we can explore what makes you uniquely you, identify the qualities and abilities that have helped you navigate life, and find ways to use those strengths to support your personal goals.
