About
Hello, and welcome! I'm Hannah Hollingsworth, and I'm glad you're here.I believe that meaningful healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and accepted. That's why empathy is at the heart of my person-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.Together, we'll build greater self-awareness, strengthen practical coping skills, and incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. I believe that lasting growth comes from understanding yourself more deeply while taking meaningful, actionable steps toward the life you want to create. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to support you with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement every step of the way.
My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults is rooted in my own experience of navigating mental health challenges and discovering the value of a supportive therapeutic relationship. Experiencing the positive impact of therapy inspired me to become the kind of counselor who offers others a space where they feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted for who they are.
I believe that every person has unique strengths, and therapy is an opportunity to recognize, build upon, and use those strengths to create meaningful change. Rather than focusing on what is "wrong," we'll work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical strategies that align with your values, goals, and needs. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and affirming. I strive to create a space where you feel accepted for who you are while also feeling empowered to develop new skills, increase self-awareness, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. My goal is to help you build on what already makes you resilient so you can create a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and sustainable.
