About
Dr. Haneen A. Haddad Alzawaideh is a dedicated Licensed Psychologist with extensive expertise in neurodiversity and neurodevelopmental disorders. With a career spanning over a decade, she has committed her practice to providing comprehensive diagnostic assessments and supportive care for children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Haddad Alzawaideh’s clinical approach is deeply rooted in a commitment to understanding the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals. Her experience includes conducting specialized evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), as well as broad psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Her work has taken place across diverse settings, ranging from private practice and specialized clinics to state-level eligibility teams and educational institutions.
My clinical focus on neurodivergent populations is driven by a deep-seated commitment to equity and the belief that every individual deserves to be understood within the context of their own unique neurotype. Throughout my career, I have observed the systemic barriers that often prevent neurodivergent individuals from accessing the timely, accurate, and compassionate care they require. This gap in service is what initially drew me to this field and continues to fuel my work today.
My interest is rooted in the complexities of human development across the lifespan. I am fascinated by the ways in which neurodivergence shapes one’s experience of the world, and I believe that clinical practice must move beyond mere diagnosis to focus on the holistic needs of the person. I have dedicated my career to advocating for those who are often underserved—whether by rigid diagnostic systems or a lack of accessible resources. By providing thorough, neuro-affirming assessments and collaborative feedback, I strive to bridge the gap between clinical insight and meaningful, real-world support. My goal is to empower families and individuals by validating their experiences and ensuring they are equipped with the tools necessary to navigate their environments with confidence and autonomy.
She is passionate about fostering a collaborative, empathetic environment where clients and families feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the diagnostic and feedback process.
