About
Hello and welcome! I'm glad you reached out for support. You don't have to do this alone. My name is Gabrielle Talley (Gabby). I currently live in Georgia and am licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Vermont. I am passionate about supporting you with the focus on helping you identify the challenges you're facing right now and what is affecting your mental health. We focus on the people around you (your environment), what your brain is saying (thoughts), how you are feeling (feelings) and how you express it (communication and behavior). If you've been struggling day-to-day or even occasionally and want to overcome the challenges you're facing right now, you're in the right place. In our work together, you’ll find a safe and nonjudgmental space where your goals matter, and where you can begin to trust the calm, confident version of yourself that’s been there all along.
My inspiration for becoming a therapist began when I was a teenager. My friends would come to me for advice and send their friends to me to help with many different situations. They appreciated my help and people continued to come to me for years as a coach and healer. I eventually wanted to expand my skills and found clinical counseling and expressive art to become a counselor. My motivation for working with autistic adults comes from recognizing traits in my daughters and working with kids through adults who have traits on the spectrum or have been diagnosed. I've also found that I have had similar experiences to my clients and understand their feelings towards those experiences. Through my own work on myself and healing throughout the years, I've used many of the counseling techniques to help myself heal and now use these with my clients. I am also a continual learner and enjoy learning new research and counseling methods to continue to help clients.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to our work together, taking time to understand who you are and what matters to you. I help you recognize the strengths, creativity, and resilience you already carry, even when they’re hard to see in yourself. Together, we build on those strengths through meaningful conversation, practical tools, and creative exploration when it feels right for you. My goal is to help you feel understood, trust yourself more, and make choices that reflect your needs, values, and hopes. You have a voice in the process, and we move at a pace that respects your experiences and readiness.
