Intro

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Gabrielle Bereski, and I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in New Jersey. I’ve always believed in the power of human connection and the courage it takes to seek support. My work is deeply rooted in the belief that healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and accepted—just as we are.I specialize in walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, whether it’s anxiety, relationship dynamics, life transitions, or a desire for deeper self-understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I want every client to feel empowered in their growth process and supported in their healing journey.Living and working in New Jersey, I feel fortunate to support a diverse community of people who are ready to explore what’s possible when they give themselves the space to grow. Therapy, to me, is not just a profession—it’s a calling. I’m here to help you reconnect with your inner strength and uncover the possibilities that already live within you.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I was drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I deeply understand the need for spaces where individuals feel seen, accepted, and supported without having to mask or explain their differences. My own experiences have given me insight into the unique challenges neurodivergent people face, from navigating social expectations to managing sensory sensitivities and burnout. I’m passionate about creating a therapeutic environment that honors each person’s way of being and helps them build self-trust, self-compassion, and a life that works for them—not one shaped by trying to fit in.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strength-based approach to my work by starting with the belief that every client already has resilience, insight, and unique abilities within them. Rather than focusing on “fixing” or pathologizing, I aim to understand and celebrate each person’s identity, lived experience, and perspective. I center my work on collaboration—highlighting what’s working, validating struggles without judgment, and helping clients reconnect with their inner strengths and values. Whether we’re exploring challenges or building new coping strategies, my goal is always to foster self-trust, empowerment, and a sense of agency in the therapy space.
