Hey! I'm Gabriela. I work as a licensed psychologist based in the state of Colorado and also have PSYPACT authorization to work in 40+ states as a telehealth provider. I have 8 years of experience conducting assessments, and I truly love it! I recognize the value in having a deeper understanding of ourselves, and an evaluation helps us get there. I approach assessment using evidence-based strategies while exploring each person’s unique experiences, identities, and strengths with curiosity.
Throughout my years, I've often met people that feel misunderstood, isolated, overwhelmed, or just different. It takes a lot of courage to seek an evaluation and explore your own experiences - and it's something that I am honored to be a part of. When conducting psychological evaluations, my goal is to help you understand your own patterns, values, strengths, and needs through a developmental framework.
Simply put: I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to assessment. Evaluations are customized to the individual, and my job is to approach your experiences with curiosity and without judgment. I focus on identifying what is already working for you (your strengths) and what you find challenging so that I can understand how you interact with your unique environment. My role is to guide you on an a safe, exploratory journey of your experiences.
