About
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist based in California, and I’m passionate about helping you better understand yourself and your experiences. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique story. I’ve worked across diverse settings, including with underserved and high-need populations, which shapes my commitment to culturally responsive care. I specialize in psychological assessment, helping you gain clarity about how you think, feel, and navigate the world. Whether you’ve always felt different or are seeking answers, I believe that understanding yourself more fully can be both empowering and relieving, and I’m here to guide you through that process with care and transparency. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and more confident in understanding yourself.
I was drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I’ve seen how often people are misunderstood rather than truly seen. Early in my career, I noticed that many individuals were being described in ways that didn’t fully capture their strengths, lived experiences, or the nuances of how they move through the world. That experience stayed with me and shaped how I show up as a clinician. Over time, I became committed to slowing down and listening more deeply, beyond surface-level symptoms, to understand each person’s full story. I’ve found that when we do this, what emerges is often clarity, dignity, and self-understanding rather than just a diagnosis. I chose this path because I want you to feel understood in a way that is accurate, respectful, and affirming. My work is about helping you make sense of yourself in a way that feels validating, not limiting, and supporting you in building insight that truly fits your lived experience.
I bring an affirming, strength-based approach to my work by starting with the belief that you already hold meaningful insight, resilience, and capacity within you. Rather than focusing only on challenges, I pay close attention to your strengths, patterns of adaptation, and the ways you naturally navigate your world. I view assessment and support as a process of understanding and building upon those strengths, not reducing you to symptoms or deficits. I also take time to understand your identity, culture, and lived experience so that our work reflects the full context of your life. I approach neurodivergent traits and differences with curiosity, respect, and affirmation, helping you make sense of your experience in a way that feels accurate and validating. Our work is collaborative, with your voice and perspective central to the process of understanding. My goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of your strengths, deeper self-understanding, and tools that support your well-being and growth.
